A single donation, no matter how large or small, makes a big impact in the BeLoved community. With a few quick clicks you can be confident that you are making a big difference in helping people get through some very tough times just as you have worked through very difficult times in your life.
Legacy Donations
Legacy gifts, also known as planned gifts, are an important source of support for BeLoved Asheville because they can provide long-term, sustainable funding. Legacy donations take many forms, including annuities, several kinds of trusts, and bequests made through wills. In setting up a legacy giving plan you most likely be able to minimize that taxes owed on your estate due to charitable giving deductions.

Beloved Asheville can accept tangible property items like cars, boats and even real estate as charitable donations. In the case of creating the BeLoved Village we are building the entire community with the help from dozens of volunteers and charitable contributions from generous donors like you. Even the property, building materials and household supplies were donated to provide affordable housing for the less fortunate members of our community.
Stock Donations
When you give appreciated non-cash assets like stocks to BeLoved Asheville you can receive significant tax benefits. By donating stock, you can avoid paying capital gains taxes on the appreciation and typically can receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the donation. Another way to reduce your tax burden is to do a transfer from your IRA account directly to Beloved Asheville. You will get the direct benefit of not being required to pay any income taxes on your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and in some cases you will be able to take a tax deduction on your IRA distribution to BeLoved Asheville.
